“O”
The “O” is the resident show at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The theme of this Cirque du Soleil show is water and the stage is made of a large pool of water and all performances are centered around, in or above this pool. The acts include synchronized swimming and aqua aerobics, as well as aerial stunts and ground acts. The Bellagio “O” Cirque du Soleil aquatic performance is a definite watch.
LOVE
As is the case with most Cirque du Soleil performances, LOVE is a stunning spectacle. This show makes heavy use of multimedia to enhance the dancing, acrobats and aerial performances with video effects projected onto a screen. The soundtrack at this show really differentiates it from other Cirque du Soleil shows as the entire soundtrack revolves around The Beatles’ Love Soundtrack. It is the resident show at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
Mystère
Mystère is the first resident show to be staged in Las Vegas and really set the standard for all the Cirque du Soleil shows that were introduced after it. Mystère is a combination of Greek theater, mime, and Charlie Chaplin style comedy. An exploration of human emotions, this performance is both fun and lighthearted but also poignant.
KÀ
This show follows a linear story about twins who have been separated and their individual journeys towards their destiny. The show follows the twins’ journeys as they travel across different landscapes and meet different creatures along the way. The show is a combination of dramatic acts, elaborate costumes, and acrobatic feats, all staged on a technologically complex stage.
The mentioned shows are only a few shows in the Cirque du Soleil shows lineup.
